By signing the entry form and paying the entry fee, you agree to the following terms:

• The deadline for the entry form and money to be in our hands is November 27, 2009. No entries will be allowed after that date!

• You may not have a Santa Claus in your entry.

• Your entry will have strictly a Christmas theme and will be in accordance with the theme set forth by the Hattiesburg Jaycees. No political themes are allowed and no decorations or costumes are allowed which are not in good taste. If you have any questions about this, it must be brought up before the day of the parade. If the Hattiesburg Jaycees feel your entry violates this rule, you will not be allowed to participate, and you forfeit your entry fee.

• One or more adults must be in charge of each entry. The "first person in charge" as named in the entry form will inform all participants in your entry as to your entry number, and will tell everyone where to meet to line up. Please also tell each participant the name of the organization which you listed on the entry form.

• You are responsible to obtain your entry number by checking the website at

www.hattiesburgjaycees.org, where it will be listed. You are responsible to tell each participant in your entry what the entry number is. In other words, everyone in your entry must know the entry number before showing up for the parade. Every year we have 1000 people asking us where they're supposed to be, it would be better for everyone if they knew this ahead of time.

• You are responsible for putting your entry number on your vehicle(s) if you want your entry to be judged. If you do not have an entry number readable by the judges, it will not be judged. You will receive a decal with your entry number on it when you check in for line up.

• For safety, do not allow anyone in or on a vehicle to get on or off that vehicle once the parade has gotten underway. If any prizes are thrown during the parade, make sure it is thrown far enough away from the vehicle so that spectators don't get close to a vehicle to retrieve it.

All the Jaycees working the parade are volunteers and as such are not paid by providing this service.

Please help us by being prepared and preparing everyone who is in your entry. This is a time to celebrate Christmas, have a good time, and show all the spectators a good time.
